Brother Minter was initiated into Eta Eta Chapter seated at Western Illinois University on April 1, 1984. Since joining Xi Lambda Chapter in 2007, Steven has served on the board of XLCAPA, where he developed the 2000/100 campaign to raise funds to burn the eXceL Center mortgage. Other Chapter responsibilities include co-chairing the Alpha Walk, and the Prayer Breakfast Committee; two break-even events that are now significant fund raising vehicles for the chapter. Steven is a Life Member and the immediate past Chapter Vice-President, serving 2012-2016.
Barris Sims

Brother Sims attended the University of Illinois at Chicago where he was initiated into Theta Chapter in the spring of 1984. Since joining Xi Lambda chapter in 2011, Barris has served as Chairman of the Fellowship Committee, Family and Friends Cookout from 2012 -2014, Bid Whist Tournament, Sorority Receptions and various subcommittees. He has served as Treasurer since 2014 and remains in that role. A Six Sigma Black Belt with a BS in Information Systems and an MBA in Finance, Barris is a Senior Vice President for Bank of America in Technology and Operations.
Theodore L. Johnson

Brother Johnson was initiated into the Alpha Phi Fraternity, Inc. on November 18, 1983, at Jackson State University (Delta Phi Chapter, Jackson, MS). Since joining Xi Lambda Chapter in 2013, Brother Johnson has actively supported several Chapter programs, activities and events. He served as a Chapter delegate at the 2015 General Convention and as the lead delegate at the 84th Midwestern Regional Convention. He is a licensed chiropractic physician and currently serves as Dean of Clinics at National University of Health Sciences.

Brother Veal was initiated into The Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity via Key 113 in the Spring of 2013. Since joining Xi Lambda, he has served on a number of committees including Space Management, Membership, Fellowship and Project Alpha. Previous leadership roles include chairing the Publicity Committee, Technology Task force and the Back to School committee. He currently serves as Chapter Corresponding Secretary, Webmaster, and delegate to NPHC-Chicago. He is a technology administrator in Chicago.
Jerry Carpenter

Brother Carpenter was initiated into Xi Sigma chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha in the spring of 1985, where he served as chapter President. Jerry is a Life Member and joined Xi Lambda chapter in 2006. Since joining Xi Lambda chapter, Jerry has served as the Chairman of Membership, and served on the Building Committee, Xi Lambda’s 90th Anniversary committee, and Leadership Retreat Director, and countless other fraternal subcommittees. He has served as Financial Secretary since 2012, and remains in that role. Jerry is Sr. Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Microdynamics Group.
Michael Clark

Brother Clark was initiated into Xi Lambda Chapter in the Spring of 2015. He received his bachelors degree in chemical engineering from the University of Cincinnati and a masters of business administration from The University of Chicago. He currently is Vice President of Compensation & Benefits for Berry Plastics Corporation. In his short tenure with the Fraternity, Brother Clark has been involved in and supported several committees and programs including Senior Brothers Roundup, mentoring, budget and finance, and served as a delegate at the Illinois district convention.
Jared Deane

Brother Deane was initiated into the Xi Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha in the Spring of 2013. Since joining Xi Lambda, Jared has served on the Education Committee with the responsibility of building the the Alphas Reading and Mentoring (ARM) Program with its adopted elementary school as well as coordinating mentoring events for high school males. He also serves on the Chaplains' Committees. In 2015, he was elected the Director of Education. Jared is an Educational Consultant and also serves as an adjunct faculty member for the City Colleges of Chicago.

Brother Lawson was initiated in the Fraternity via Theta Chapter on June 24, 1961. He joined Xi Lambda four short years later in 1965 and has been active ever since. Professionally he is retired from the National Association of Realtors where he served as the Director of Products for the Council of Residential Specialist.
Royce Strahan

Brother Strahan was initiated into Xi Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. in the Spring of 2013. Following his graduation from Howard University in 2011 where he received his bachelors in journalism, he pursued a career communications. In Xi Lambda Chapter he has served as the Associate Editor to the Sphinx Magazine since 2014 and Editor of the Xi Lambda Ledger, the Chapter’s bi-monthly publication. He has also served on several committees since becoming a member. Royce is a communications specialist with AGB Investigative Services, Inc. and ComEd.
Jordan McMillan

Brother McMillan was initiated into Theta Chapter in the Spring of 1984, where he served as Dean of Pledges in the Spring of '87. He joined Xi Lambda in 1999 and has served in the roles of Recording Secretary (2001-2005), Alumni Advisor to Theta Chpt. (2002-2005), and Asst. Dean of Pledges (2002-2010). Jordan currently serves as the Directory of Initial Membership (2011-present) and Recording Secretary for XLCAPA (2005-present). He is employed with ED F Man Capital Markets as an Operations Specialist.
Nicholas Cummings

Brother Cummings was initiated into Xi Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha in the Spring of 2013. Nick was appointed Parliamentarian in 2014 where he continues to serve. He has served on the Fellowship Committee, the House Committee and various other subcommittees within the chapter. Nick is currently the Chair of the Chapter’s Constitution Committee. Nick is an Assistant State’s Attorney in Cook County.
Steven R. Wolfe

Brother Wolfe was initiated into the fraternity in 1980 through Nu Rho Chapter at the Illinois Institute of Technology. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from IIT and an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis. Steve was a member of Alpha Eta Chapter and then Epsilon Lambda Chapter prior to joining Xi Lambda in 1984. Brother Wolfe served as the 31st Chapter President from 2012-2016. Professionally, Steve is the Director of Finance & Administration for an independent medical practice.
